  • Keep login details private.
  • Confirm numbers & amounts carefully.
  • Contact support fast for disputes.

1) About the Service

What Data Boom Enterprises provides.

Data Boom Enterprises (“Data Boom”, “we”, “us”) operates a platform that enables users to purchase and manage value-added services (“VTU Services”), which may include airtime, data bundles, bill payments, wallet funding, and related digital services. The service is accessible via databoomnigeria.ng.

Your responsibility

You agree to provide accurate details for every transaction (e.g., recipient phone number, meter number, amount). Please double-check before confirming.

2) Eligibility & Accounts

Who can use the service and how accounts work.
  • Eligibility: You must be able to legally enter into a binding agreement.
  • Accurate info: You agree to provide and keep account details up to date.
  • Security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
  • Unauthorized activity: Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.
Account safety tip: Use a strong password and avoid sharing OTPs, PINs, or login details with anyone. Data Boom staff will never ask you for your password.

3) VTU Services & Orders

How purchases are placed and delivered.

When you place an order, you authorize Data Boom to process the transaction and deliver the requested service. Delivery times may vary based on network/provider availability.

  • Confirmation: An order is considered confirmed when our system accepts and processes it.
  • Recipient details: You are responsible for entering correct recipient details.
  • Availability: Some services may be temporarily unavailable due to provider downtime.
  • Limits: We may apply transaction limits for security and compliance reasons.

4) Wallet, Funding & Balances

Rules for wallet usage and funding.
  • Wallet balance: Your wallet may be used to pay for services on the platform.
  • Funding: Funding methods may include bank transfer or payment gateways (as available).
  • Verification: Funding may require confirmation and may be delayed by bank/provider processing.
  • Errors: If a wallet credit is applied incorrectly, we may reverse or correct it.
Note: Keep transaction receipts and references. They help support resolve issues quickly.

5) Pricing, Fees & Changes

How pricing is set and when it can change.

Prices and availability may vary by network/provider and can change from time to time. Where applicable, any service fees, discounts, or commissions may be displayed before you confirm a transaction.

  • Transparent pricing: We aim to show applicable amounts before confirmation.
  • Updates: We may adjust prices due to provider changes, taxes, or operational costs.
  • Promotions: Discounts or promotions may have eligibility requirements and expiry dates.

6) Refunds, Reversals & Disputes

What happens when something goes wrong.

VTU services are often delivered instantly. However, if a transaction fails, is reversed by a provider, or is not delivered as expected, we will investigate and apply appropriate remedies based on available records.

Investigation

We may request transaction references, screenshots, or other proof to verify the issue.

Reversal / Refund

Where confirmed, refunds may be credited to your wallet or returned via the original funding method, subject to provider processing timelines.

Important: Transactions made with incorrect recipient details (e.g., wrong phone number or meter number) may be irreversible. Always confirm details before proceeding.

7) Acceptable Use

Rules to keep the platform safe and fair.

You agree not to misuse the platform. Prohibited activities include:

  • Fraud, unauthorized transactions, or attempts to bypass security controls.
  • Scraping, reverse engineering, or interfering with platform operations.
  • Using the service to violate applicable laws or third-party rights.
  • Creating multiple accounts to abuse promotions, bonuses, or referral benefits.

8) Third-Party Services

Providers and integrations.

Some services rely on third-party networks, processors, and providers. We are not responsible for outages, delays, or service failures caused by third parties beyond our control. However, we will make reasonable efforts to assist you and provide updates where possible.

9) Privacy

How we handle personal information.

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect personal information. By using this service, you agree to our privacy practices as described in the Privacy Policy.

10) Suspension & Termination

When access may be restricted.
  • We may suspend or terminate access if we believe you violated these Terms or used the service unlawfully.
  • We may also restrict access to protect users, the platform, or comply with legal requirements.
  • You may stop using the service at any time.

11) Disclaimers & Liability

Important legal limitations.

The service is provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or error-free operation. To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages.
  • We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by third-party providers.
  • Our total liability for a claim related to a specific transaction will not exceed the amount of that transaction (where allowed by law).

12) Changes to Terms

How updates are communicated.

We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on databoomnigeria.ng with a revised “Effective” date. Continued use of the service after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
